Queer Caucus

Queer Caucus at Union Theological Seminary is an intentional space for LGBTQ+ students to enjoy community at Union. Events are open to all students, regardless of identity and experiences, unless otherwise indicated. Queer Caucus organizes social, educational, and spiritual events once to twice per month that center and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community through a variety of activities.

Last year, we hosted movie nights, a holiday party, Queer Caucus-sponsored Pubs, an Earth Day clothing swap, and a Queer Recognition and Celebration Ceremony (QRCC) for graduating students. This upcoming year, we look forward to continuing old favorites and introducing new events such as an author talk, sexual health fair, panel discussions, and Chapels. Events are dreamed up by Queer Caucus as well as in partnership with other student caucuses and administrative teams. Our ultimate goal, whatever the event, is to support LGBTQ+ student thriving at Union.
